Kagome Higurashi, a 15-year-old schoolgirl from modern-day Japan, leads a double life as both a present-day student and a feudal-era demon-slayer. After falling down a well on the grounds of her family's Shinto shrine, Kagome finds herself transported back in time to the violent Sengoku period, 500 years ago.

In this new era, Kagome meets Inuyasha, a half-demon with a troubled past, who joins her on a perilous quest. Together, they are joined by other allies, including Shippo, an orphaned fox-demon; Miroku, a wise and intelligent monk; and Sango, a skilled demon slayer.

Their mission is to find the power-granting shards of the sacred Shikon Jewel, which have been shattered into pieces across feudal Japan. Along the way, they must confront numerous threats, including powerful demons and rival treasure hunters who seek to claim the jewel's powers for themselves.

As Kagome navigates this treacherous world, she must also contend with her own feelings for Inuyasha, as well as the danger posed by Naraku, a vengeful demon who seeks to exploit the Shikon Jewel's power. Will Kagome and her companions be able to overcome their differences and work together to achieve their goal?

Inuyasha: Swords of an Honorable Ruler is the third installment in the Inuyasha movie series, which was released on December 15th in Japan (between episodes 136 and 137) and September 6, 2005, in the United States. With its blend of action, adventure, romance, and fantasy elements, this thrilling anime is sure to captivate audiences of all ages.
